We were in a San Fernando Valley congregation in the fifties and early 60's.(The KH was across the street from the park). We were a very diverse group. Italians, mexicans, white, & black. It was a very close, happy group, frequent picnics and get togethers. Weddings and Funerals would bring out the whole congregation.

One black family we became good friends with was the Kyles. The mother was called Peaches. One of her sons was Layfayette. That's all I can remember but we loved those folks.
