    Having faith is believing in something without having a reason... and therefore having faith is being unreasonable.

    I wonder what they would say if you asked them, "If you were gay, would you want to get married?"

    That would probably have been an interesting conversation.

    I remember, back when I was religious, I asked someone why they were gay... to my astonishment he replied, "God made me gay." It's strange to think that the answer confused me, when it's so obvious to me now.

    I feel your pain; witlesses use such distorted circular arguments that, whenever my Mom starts talking wash-towel nonsense, I get motion sick just listening.

    BTW I think nailing Jello to a wall is much easier than reasoning with a dub; at least Jello has defined properties and limits, a dub not so much, no scratch that none, they have none at all.

    I once successfully explained evolution to a dub by asking, "Do you believe genes mutate?" The answer was, "Of course, why would anyone not believe that?"
