I don't understand this line of thinking. I was told that there was always a faithful remnant of the organization, each generation feeding the next and that they had never been a part of christendom. That is a contradiction of them having to be cleansed from Babylonish influence. So which is it?

Thank you Cedars and everybody else who posted on this topic, the Society teaches our brothers were refined and cleaned, the way the angel put the burning coal to the lips of the prophet. Why did Jesus Christ stop cleaning this spiritual brothers who remain on Earth? There is more havoc taking place in Kingdom Halls, depression is growing regarding the apathy encountered in field service, friends don't feel they have a real family with fellow JWS. It's turned into a Elks Club, if you know which people to hang out with!

It's pure fantasy, and they're reaping the rewards of publishing their pipe dream.

Pure self promoting propaganda bullshit constructed upon lies and corruption.

Doesn't every religion in the realm of Christianity claim to be selectively chosen by god himself ?

Men created god as well toward god's selectivity to whom he has chosen.

Is this really surprising coming from a religious publishing house ?

I would bet that if you took one of those people from the 1918 era forward and show them the organization and the doctrines being shoveled out the door, they would be totally astonished that it could go on for so long with the leaders getting away with it.

Perhaps not once realized how much power and money the organization created over the decades.

Since they have changed virtually every doctrine & practice that Jesus "approved" of since 1919, doesn't that mean the Society itself has gone apostate?

Also, they want us to believe "the faithful, discreet..." parable is, apparently, the single most important teaching in the entire scripture yet Mark never mentioned it? Luke never mentioned it? John never mentioned it? Paul never mentioned it? It's just an obscure parable encouraging individuals to live righteously so they are found to be doing so when Christ returns.

The bigger the lie the more they believe... amazingly its true too often.

Would Jesus support and choose a commercialized false prophet ?

    I don't think so !
