Why Do Former Atheist Scholars Turn Deist Or Theist?

This reads like "hooray, one for the theists." If so, they better tally up the score of who is winning more converts from the pool of scholars.

More scientists go from deist/theist to atheist than the other way around. One of my favorite atheists is Neil deGrasse Tyson. He's one of the most brilliant minds in science and physics today. He can make the most complex ideas sound simple and make it easy to understand. I love this quote from him:
“I want to put on the table, not why 85% of the members of the National Academy of Sciences reject God, I want to know why 15% of the National Academy don’t.”
