  So now you have it in your mind, that the WTS are not what they say they are, they lie and what have you.

  Nowwwww, next time you dont go out in fieldservice, and the next time, and the next time people start to wonder.

  Well, time comes and you have to explain yourself to WHO EVER. Your mom, your dad, an elder, WHO EVER

  Now you cant just go about saying, "Well, one of the things is that new light is a bunch of crap, because Russel predicted This in 1914 and that in 1918 and that in....."

  Then they'll go "Oh, and where did you get that information from? From an apostate site? Ohhh so you are becomming an apostate, oky, so we'll go ahead and shun you now".

  Where do i find evidence that i can actualy show my Parents, that wont make it obvious that satan handed it to me (sarcasm intended)

  There really is no "right way" - they think they are better than you are, and have the great Jehovah on their side.

  And, of course - they are sadly deluded cult members.

  The best way to deal with them is to walk away and have no further debate, contact, or argument.

  It is tempting to want to wake up family members but be careful how you approach them. If someone is not mentally ready to hear what you are saying you could push them further away. Jws apostate radar is extremely sensitive. I would work on healing yourself first and dodge the bullets. If elders ask why your service has slipped then you are going through some stressful things at present and admit that you are finding things a little overwhelming. You need space to recover spiritually and will contact them if you need their help.

  I find this works:

  

  dont let it what other people would do influance you. If you need the research its all in the proclaimers book. They admit a lot of it. THen pull some old wt quotes from the various sites that host them... but you really dont need that. The current generation teaching is a joke that no one can defend, and theres plenty of other flaws beyond the old stuff. Just dont flip them of until your sure its what you want. If you want to fade, then simply ....... fade.

  You can say you were reading Russell's Study in the Scriptures books and that's how you found out, why? Because you always wanted to read Russell's books and now you were able to do so, so you did, and you realized that what you read has not been taught to you by any witnesses or when Watchtower makes reference to Russell it's very selective as to what he preached or out of context.

  You don't have to mention apostate sites apostates or anything. Any info you should keep strictly from Watchtower's own publications, and if they say you're becomeing apostate ask them since when are watchtower publications apostate????

  Are JWs not supposed to read certain WTS publications? Which ones? Is there a cut off year for ok reading while others aren't?

  I once had an elder denouncing old WT literature (selected writings of Russell and Rutherford) as garbage and pornography.

  I asked him when it stops being the truth and turns into garbage and pornography.

  Never did get an answer from him...

  Although there are quite a few sincire elders out there, some really have an ego about them, and with their non-existant training and low job/people skills, one can easily find themselves in the wrong end of an argument. I've gone toe to toe with an elder or to on an ancillary issue or two, but nothing docternal. Well I did that once and the elder tried quoting older literature that he thought I didn't have access to, surprise! This was before the CD was available

  Don't bother, they'll never listen. This isn't the sword in the stone waiting for the anointed Kind Arthur to pull out and do battle with, it's just a rock-mass of offense, and if you bother with it you'll get crushed.

  Guess, any reason i would give to any one wont be good enough in their eyes..
