When you were A JW did you ever hear another JW

speak about someone who left and have not seen them

for A number of years. The first thing that come out of their

mouth, he or she looks so old.

You dumb ass, so do you. Anytime you are around the

same people each week, you do not notice the aging process.

My wife looks the same as when I met her 17yrs. ago. Only

when we look at old pictures we can see, so we do not

    look at old pictures anymore.

The next time you meet an old JW ex-freind you have not seen in

years, ask them , how old are you, my 50 you say. Wow

    you look much older.

I know I look old and tired from frantically doing everything (and still feeling guilty) that I could in that organization for over thirty years. If I could just have back the time I spent cleaning bathrooms at the KHall and Assemblies I'd be less tired and old!

Quandry, I am laying hands on the screen right now,

your aging process will stop today. I wish. But seriously.

We can not change the past, many here have wasted

A bit of our life in that cult. Thank goodness we got out

    when we did.

I only look old and tired.

You(JWs) look old and tired and Paranoid and wired and hypocrite and scared and foolish and apathetic and cultish and peddler.....

I don't believe JWs beggining to understand how they look and act.

After seeing my (JW) mother yesterday, I feel old and tired

ps it was at a relative's Catholic Mass funeral - and she attended. My, how the JWs have changed their stance since I was a JW in the 1970s. We were too scared to enter any church. More flip-flopping.

Not an unusual phenomenon; we see ourselves everyday and those we associate with at work, family, and once the KH. So the changes in appearance are daily or at least weekly. If you don't have contact with someone for years (visually especially), the changes can be more dramatic.
