The problem with religious moral standards might be that they are quite old and out dated in view of the
fact they were created thousands of years ago by primitive civilizations, consumed in ignorance of themselves and the world they lived in.
Much has been learned over those thousands of years, although there are a few good moral standards to be realized within written religious texts.
