If people of other religions are allowed to wear outward symbols of their faiths, it's only fair to allow Christians to wear them. In my case, there are times in my road shows, special events and demonstrations that I must handle food, so I am not allowed to wear any jewelry that might fall off in the food or harbor bacteria. At first glance it seems the two women in this court case are being discriminated against. I don't wear a cross, but if I did and was told not to wear it or lose my job, I'd have to leave it at home. The question is: are these employers trying to follow health code? If flight attendants and nurses are allowed to wear other types of necklaces, then they were clearly setting different rules for Chrisitans.
