Yummy! Enjoy!
I'm going to make myself sick eating (homemade!) biscuits and Sugar Babies.

Whether my daughter thinks that or not I don't know. I have to admit, when she was growing up there were things I wanted to change because I could see how they would make her life harder than it needed to be. But now, she is an adult, and she is who she is. She tends to learn things the hard way...a bit like her mother...maybe its genetics.
Enjoy your biscuits and lollies...that much sugar would keep me up all night!

As I see it, catching the fish without a license is not cheating. Cheating is when you gain an unfair advantage. While fishing without a license may be breaking the law and would be punished under that law, the record should stand unless it was proven that the person catching it actually cheated.

I love to fish and what happened does suck.
But if you were out poaching (Fishing/hunting out of season and/or without a license.) why oh why would you contact fish and game?
Even if the guy did catch a record fish, he seems kind of stupid for essentially turning himself in.
Maybe that last beer wasn’t such a great idea.

As an avid sport fisherman, I have no sympathy for poachers. If the guy caught that fish while angling without the proper license, he was poaching, plain & simple. Poaching is illegal, as well as unethical.
I pay my dues every year for the privilege of being able to fish and retain caught hatchery fish. This comes at a pretty steep price. In the State of Washington, where I am a resident, my yearly license, including freshwater, saltwater, shellfish, and catch record tag costs me nearly $70. I also fish in Oregon. My yearly Oregon non-resident tags cost me $137.00. I suck it up and pay out every year. There are lots of other things I would rather spend that money on, but I pay it anyway. Therefore, I have no respect for folks that feel that they are above having to pay to play.
