I was a wedding photographer for many years. Before and during my time in the borg.
I was never sanctioned because of doing it, and naturally, I didn't participate in any rituals. For a period of time I changed my job and only shot Witness weddings and lo and behold I qualified as a servant. After a change of cong., I returned to the photography game and was never re-appointed. Although an elder friend would occasionally cover an odd job for me and remained an elder !
I think the principle of 'painting the church door' would apply, i.e you won't be disfellowshipped for doing it, but would you stumble others by doing so?
I've shot many Catholic weddings and the bridal party has never been required to observe any kind of religious ritual. You may be safe technically, but will you stumble someone.
