The masthead of the magazine originally said "Zion's Watchtower" since it was preparing the way for the setting up of Zionism with the introduction of peace in 1914.

The other part of the magazine's masthead announce "Herald of Christ's Presence" since CTR was announcing that the Parousia had already taken place in 1874.

They had a rewritten edition of the "you can live forever in paradise on earth" book, the original was from 1982, and in 1989 they made a new edition with changes about the resurrection of the people of Sodom & Gomorrah

The WT CD is extremely limited on older publications. There's a good reason for that! If current, active JDubs could read things from the '60s and before they'd see how much sh*t they are fed under the guise of "food at the proper time".

The WTBTS must think all their followers are mushrooms considering all the steer manure they keep heaping on them!

"That the deliverance of the saints must take place some time before 1914 is manifest...Just how long before 1914 the last living members of the body of Christ will be glorified, we are not directly informed;" (Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 3, p. 228).

"That the deliverance of the saints must take place very soon after 1914 is manifest... Just how long after 1914 the last living members of the body of Christ will be glorified, we are not directly informed;" (Ibid., 1923 ed.)

"This calculation shows A.D. 1874 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble; for 1542 years B.C. plus 1874 years A.D. equals 3416 years. Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1874 was the chronological beginning of the time of trouble..." (Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 3, p. 342, 1889 ed.)

"This calculation shows A.D. 1915 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble; for 1542 years B.C. plus 1915 years A.D. equals 3457 years. Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1914 will be the beginning of the time of trouble..." (Ibid., 1905 ed.)

"Also, in the year 1918, when God destroys the churches wholesale and the church members by millions..." (The Finished Mystery, 1917 ed.).

"Also, in the year 1918, when God begins to destroys the churches and the church members by millions..." (Ibid., 1926 ed.)

1889 "Be not surprised, then, when in subsequent chapters we present proofs that the setting up of the Kingdom of God is already begun, that it is pointed out in prophecy as due to begin the exercise of power in A.D. 1878, and that the 'battle of the great day of God Almighty (Rev. 16:14) which will end in A.D. 1914 with the complete overthrow of earth's present rulership, is already commenced. The gathering of the armies is plainly visible from the standpoint of God's word." (Studies in the Scriptures, Vol. 2, The Time Is At Hand, 1889 Ed., p. 101. The 1915 Edition of this texts changed "A.D. 1914" to read 'A.D. 1915')

1897 "...this measurement is 3416 inches, symbolizing 3416 years.... This calculation shows A.D. 1874 as marking the beginning of the period of trouble...." (Russell, Studies in the Scriptures: Thy Kingdom Come, Series III, p. 342, 1897 edition)

Note: The 1916 edition changed to read: "We find it to be 3457 inches, symbolizing 3457 years.... Thus the Pyramid witnesses that the close of 1914 will be the beginning of the time of trouble...." (The measurement was the length of an interior passageway discovered inside the Pyramids. It has no reference in Scripture.)

    Great job, Blondie!

Don't you love how the Great Pyramid's measurements changed in order to match the Society's shift from 1874 to 1914 for the date of the parousia, adding 40 inches (plus one extra inch to compensate for the fact that Russell forgot there was no Year 0)?

If that doesn't show the dishonesty of the organization, I don't know what does.

The WTS does not include "Babylon the Great Has Fallen, God's Kingdom Rules" book in the WT CD library!!

Actually, it was on the first few editions of the WT CD through 1999.
