That's great! I know the feeling. I was home for about a month with no work. You must feel great now

I am truly sorry if my presence and participation causes you ... ummmmm... undue (IMHO) concern or consternation.
Congrats on getting the work! I didn't always agree with everything you said, but I wasn't all that consternated by it either.

It's still more than a week away . . . Armageddon might be here by then.
It's in the Bible.

Again, thank you ALL (yep, even you, Jer!) for your very kind comments and good wishes. I am VERY excited. I am a little nervous because, again, it is much more responsibility that I've ever had (sort of; many of the same tasks and they've agreed to train as to those tasks I'm not familiar with, like "government procurement protocols"): 10 times the amount of property... and thus, 10 times the number of employees (my current max has been 72)... and a LOT of meetings... and travel, sometimes to DC). But I have a LOT of experience and when we spoke, my "superiors" and I were on the same page on virtually all matters/goals, both short- and long-term. And... it's a position that will allow me to help so many... particularly the elderly, disabled, poor, and children... directly and indirectly. So...
It will be the first time since I've been coming here, though, that so much of my attention will need to focus on my job that I just won't be able to participate to my usual degree. Part of me is very sad about that (as some of you know)... and part of me is pretty happy (as some of you may guess). My Lord will work it out, though, so I'm not concerned (anymore).
But all of your well-wishes are truly and greatly appreciated... and, again, thank you for them!
Dear Size... peace to you... and absolutely NO worries: the event that many refer to as "Armageddon" doesn't occur until at least 1,000 years after my Lord returns... and he hasn't returned, yet, so... well, I have at least 1,000 years before I have to worry about that. I plan on being retired before then, though, so... LOLOLOLOL!
Ummmm... "hot" is usually in the eye of the beholder, dear EP (peace, chile!); my eye says "hot mess"!! LOLOLOLOL!
Peace, chikkins... and if you see me on the news (the job includes "spokesperson" to the press from time to time)... HOLLA!
YOUR servant, and a slave of Christ (for whom I will do my BEST to honor this privilege),
