"...this little station played everything from the British Invasion to Motown, Soul, Cross over country and Brazil 66 and Herb Albert and Tijuana Brass."

Herb Alpert...best trumpet sound I've ever heard.

    Herb Alpert then,

This guitar on When the Fallen Angels Fly is really nice.

I've been through OK only once, but it was a neat experience. Everything was brown during the summer until we got closer to Arkansas.

scenic, I was just listening to that on youtube. I have loved Herb Alpert since the 1960's. Do you know his father immigrated to the US from Russia?

I had no idea. I remember reading there was not one Latino in the Tijuana Brass. As a joke he remarked there were 4 lasagnas, 2 bagels, and an American cheese in the group, Alpert himself being Jewish. This always surprised me since he has a strong Latino look.

Between his musical career and his recording studio (A & M Records), he is one of the most successful musicians in history.

This right here is when I'm in the most arrogant of moods when I feel like my doo-doo don't stink. This is the kind of music that motivates me to tell a beautiful and sophisticated woman that she only look good because she's with me. This is flossy car music at it's best. I can picture James Woods listening to this in his Lambo flicking cigar ashes at liberals.

This is gym music. If you're looking to shed some pounds, or looking for the perfect soundtrack to get your veins boiling before hitting the gym, I suggest M.O.P..

Some years ago, I fell into a little bit of a depression, and musically there was nothing that I felt. Hip Hop was too party at the time, and I was feeling too down in the dumps. I heard this song one night in a record store, and it opened the doors to Post Punk and Alternative for me. I still feel real reflective and moody after hearing this. Never would have been exposed to Joy Division or Sisters of Mercy had it not been for this song.
