Wouldn't matter, though, anyway, would it, dear N.Drew (again, peace to you, dear one!)... because even so, the rocks would cry out. As to the comment from dear Jay (again, peace to you, as well!)... he's insinuating that the post was an attempt by me to justify what he perceives to be [my own] haughtiness.
Unfortunately, that word is often misconstrued, as well. He need not worry, though - I won't go into an explanation here because the original message wasn't for non-believers, but "believers"... particularly those who take offense at the messenger, rather than asking for ears so as to hear... and get the sense of... the message. Been happening for several millenia that, though... ever since Israel left Egypt and showed themselves to be the hard-headed, hard-hearted, stiff-necked people they most often are.
So, no reason to wonder at the comments/reaction, either from non-believers OR "believers". Those who have ears will hear... and those who don't... well... won't. Nothing knew under the sun... and nothing either of us (you and I) can do about that. Not in our hands.

I know what you mean, dear one (peace to you, truly!)... and how you feel. I try to remind myself of what our Lord used to tell me: "It's just a lot of words, child, from those who have nothing/don't know what [else] to say." And he's right: it's the Internet, so what can one expect? Not like it's a literal "committee" of men sitting in judgment... or a group of folks coming to take one away to be "tried" (yeah, right), judged, condemned... and literally put to death. Hard as this might be (having others gang up on/tempt one), doesn't compare to either of those, IMHO. What can earthling man do to us, really? What can these do... other than what they do?
Maybe the following will help you (it did me, when all of this first began for me, starting with the WTBTS). My Lord showed me this when I told how I felt, how people (elders, publishers, etc.) were "responding" when I shared what he gave me (after they asked me!). He told me that I wasn't the only who had felt this way, that others, including him, shared that same "spirit", and his words to that effect were given through JAH's prophet, Jeremiah:
"JaHVeH, you enticed me, and I was taken in.
You were too strong for me,
and you prevailed.
Now I’m laughed at all the time;
everyone mocks me.
Every time I open my mouth, I cry out
and say, “Violence and destruction!”
JaHVeH's word has brought me
nothing but insult and injury, constantly.
I thought, I’ll forget him;
I’ll no longer speak in his name.
But there’s an intense fire in my heart,
trapped in my bones.
I’m drained trying to contain it;
I’m unable to do it.
I hear many whispering—
“Panic Lurks Everywhere!—
proclaim, yes, let’s proclaim it ourselves!”
All my friends are waiting
for me to stumble:
“Perhaps he can be enticed.
Then we’ll prevail against him
and get our revenge on him!”
But JaHVeH is with me
like a strong defender.
Therefore, my oppressors
will stumble and not prevail.
They will be disgraced
by their own failures.
Their dishonor will never be forgotten."Jeremiah 20:7-11 (CEB)
He also showed me how JAH's prophet, Isaiah (and, again, he himself) dealt with it:
"JaHVeH has given Me the tongue of disciples,
That I may know how to sustain the weary one with a word.
He awakens Me morning by morning,
He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple.
JaHVeH has opened My ear;
And I was not disobedient
Nor did I turn back.
I gave My back to those who strike Me,
And My cheeks to those who pluck out the beard;
I did not cover My face from humiliation and spitting.
For JaHVeH helps Me,
Therefore, I am not disgraced;
Therefore, I have set My face like flint,
And I know that I will not be ashamed.
He who vindicates Me is near;
Who will contend with Me?
Let us stand up to each other;
Who has a case against Me?
Let him draw near to Me.
Behold, JaHVeH helps Me;
Who is he who condemns Me?
Behold, they will all wear out like a garment;
The moth will eat them.
Who is among you that fears JaHVeH,
That obeys the voice of His servant,
That walks in darkness and has no light?
Let him trust in the name of JaHVeH and rely on his God.
Behold, all you who kindle a fire,
Who encircle yourselves with firebrands,
Walk in the light of your fire
And among the brands you have set ablaze.
This you will have from My hand:
You will lie down in torment.Isaiah 50:4-11 (NASB)
So, let 'em yammer, girl. I mean, the fact they're even engaging/commenting... whether in a good way or not so good way... means they're reading [what we've posted]. Which they may deny, but... well, you know. That they continually engage/comment means they're reading, though... and a lot, if not everything, of what we post. Personally, I'll carry the "torture tree/stake/pole" that results... for our Lord AND if it means these will do that.
Some of us "plant"... some of us "water"... and, so, you know where I'm going with that -
