wha happened?
I don't see massive prosecutions on this or even an arrest. However there's one thing hiding and the WT knows it, not all the elders keep their nose clean and even just a few coming up with a devient past(s) will be a black eye. Why would the the Society prevent the checking of elders when a few popped up as having a history that would disqualify them in their position as elders.
We all know why, they really don't care about the rank and file.
