Isn't it obvious? Unexplained injuries, no social life? These things beg the question of what the Watchtower does with its time and its money.
They're Batmen. Multiple people sharing the identity protects all of them from discovery.

I don't think it's terrible about them building a new rec center and all that. I mean, the volunteers (slaves) deserve SOME kind of fun, God knows they aren't getting paid.
But ALL the money can't possibly go to new buildings & the printing. Not possible in any way.
