It's time all you mentally diseased and demon possessed heathen ex-jws acknowledged the fine works being achieved by the brothers. Afterall, there are many here who continue to espouse the ruputed fact that the jws they know, or are related to, are decent, honest, loving persons.

Perhaps it's just me, but as I reflect, I wonder, Where were all wonderful persons when I was in the cult? Now I couldn't think of, let alone name one of them. A 'good' jw is a mythical creature, much like their god.

But anyhow, putting that aside - What are some down to earth practical ways we can help the brothers?

Let me start the ball rolling.

I would like to be able to feed them -

Yes, that's right, feed them - To packs of ravenous, feeding frenzied sharks.

Cheeses. Upholding his own lofty standards.

You have a lot of unresolved anger issues, don't you?

I am not an angry person as you may assume.

In reality, my robust loathing contempt for everything jw and wt related is a very peaceful and soothing. Calming and relaxing. I just enjoy taking the piss out of the brothers. I have yet to meet the person I couldn't annoy. And people who have sympathy for jws are an easy target.

    Cheeses. Just oozing with love.

    But, but, but.............we NEED JDubs.

Who else will clean our windows and be janitors? Where else would we go?

    Many JWs are potential exJWs.

Afterall, we were all JWs once.

Holy Cheese, I saw what you saw in the org. I think the reason why the "friends" are not so kind is twofold.

One reason is they are kept so busy keeping up with the watchtower they hadly have time for kowing even where a kind word is needed.

The other reason is Watchtower has them believing that it is their field service which satisfies their natural desire to be kind in God's image.

Are they not to tired to be friendly?

    Dear Holey,

I would suggest you start by extracting your head out of your a**hole, your avatar is very disconcerting even if photoshopped. Yikes!

Secondly, you seem to be very angry as people who are, as CoC mentions, "victims of victims". Again--my suggestion--if you could pop your head out of "that darkness" you might see there are actually some good folks who are just trying to do what they think is the best thing to do. They've been tricked, they're being abused, and they need help.

Third, I was very angry too, for several months, I really wanted to grab by his collar and belt the young, cocky CO that came to counsel me for stepping down as elder, and throw him out of my house. But I know my wife would have made my life miserable for weeks on end after that. So I practice managing my anger and channel it towards seeding bits of anti-GB "truths" that may help "Awake!n" the friends at the Hall.

As a JW my close circle of friends consisted of good people. My husband truly cares for the cong. They are blinded & misguided. Though there are plenty of hypocrtical jerks. Same as in the real world.

Really there's very little that can be done. They have to do it.

You can bring a horse to water, but can't make them drink - that sort of thing.

When I left I told everyone in my large family that I wasn't going to be a JW ever again, and the reasons why. You can show them a laundry list of flaws, doctrinal holes, prophetic blunders, info on the WT's inglorious roots, UN, 607 - you name it. Until the person actually starts thinking on their own, there is no amount of accurate information that you can share that will make them budge - at least in my experience. I'd bet that most of my friends/family stopped reading the letters/emails I sent at the first sign of "apostasy".
