I remember years ago being told in my teen years that blood transfusions were forbidden. I lived in fear as a teenager that if I ever needed a blood transfusion I might die because I figured my parents wouldn't consent to it. What a way to grow up!
Child abuse - the emotional kind
This makes me remeber how stressed I was a child.
The son should be able to choose whatever religion he wants without emotional blackmail from his parents. You grow up and leave home . You don't divorce your parents. The wts are the ones who force the parents to choose. They create a dilemma that really does not have to exit.. *astards.
The only time I got into a shouting match with my mother was over this issue.
"well, you made the choice to get baptized and dedicate your life to Jehovah"
"BUT MOM, I WAS ONLY FOURTEEN!!! YOU TOOK ME OUT OF SCHOOL!!! I WAS ONLY TRYING TO PLEASE YOU!!!"
"Don't talk to your mother that way, or you will never be welcome in this house again"
