I am not sure how old this is, it was just posted on youtube. The convention shown is from 2002. The former elder starting at around 5:50 in part one really reveals JW practices. I have only watched part one when I posted this, but will watch all parts.

This caused a real shit stir amoung witnesses at the time. What I found funny about the first video was at 1:03, 1:04 was my cousins and grandmother in the shot. (Tall redhead, girl with glasses and the old bird between them) The cousin on the right was abused by an elder down in Tasmania and the old girls husband, our grandfather, abused me and my other cousin (these two girls brother).
For them who have been abused, please never more take the quilt on you own.
Be brave and tell the truth. And find the help you need. And stick atound to see justice done.

Thx for posting the clips otwo, I remember before this story aired we were told not to watch it, thank god for you tube, it will never go away. I had a few friends in Natalie Webbs congregation, they could never believe that Maurice Hadley would visit her Dad in prison once a month, sickening. I stand corrected, but Im pretty sure this was the reason Bentleigh Cong got disbanded not long after.
I couldnt believe the camera shots of the district convention at the Melbourne Tennis Centre, not only did I see me & my family, but many I knew, so many no longer go anymore, trip down memory lane. Sadly also saw a few no longer with us....

I've recently emailed the Sunday program to inquire whether follow up via the S Unthank case would be appropriate.
I know our focus as ex-Dubs is on the Borg but is there any indication that the pedophile cover-up phenomenon is common among other religions, as well? (besides the Catholic church, of course)
I think maybe the reason the story doesn't get much publicity in the USA anymore is because it has been played out for the most part (media-wise) with both the Catholics and JWs. If there was a new scandal in another religion then perhaps it would bring up the JW situation to the forefront again.
The scary thing is that all these child abuse scandals are just not heard of within the organisation, but meanwhile bro criticise the church for their weirdos while on the ministry as if no JW has even been arrested for such crimes
