I Brought that same point to my Dad's attention and told him that not even the Governing Body really believes the end is close. It's hard to a argue with the logic. He said, "it would cost so much."
I mentioned that anyone in the organization would likely be happy to put up the money for something like that. If they can raise 8 million in a year for assembly hall, and put up the dough for the printing of a magazine for illiterate people in 400 languages, dont you think the money is there for some TV time? Internet ads even? What about picketing or billboards?
They are intentionally being sneaky so they don't get the media on their back for being a dangerous cult.
The door-to-door ministry is a total joke in the Western World, at least.
