...FireFox 5.....No more Cut and Paste..Then things get Funny...

  FireFox 5 doesn`t support Cut and Paste..

  You have to use "Contact Capture" and you have to sign up for it..

  So I signed up as Fred Flintstone and said my occupaton was a Dino Driver for Slate & Son..

  LOL!!..

  I also put a Note on the application that said I hoped Contact Capture would work this time..

  (I tried a few times..Nothing worked..)

  I got an Email back from a techie stating..

  He didn`t know what I expected ,as I keep giving him false information..LOL!!!!!!

  I had no idea there was a real person at the other end of all this..

  So I thanked him for the laugh and told him I would try again..

  You can`t cut and paste on the new FireFox 5..It won`t support those tools..

  You have to use "Contact Capture"..

  Although I`m not sure they`re going to let me have it now..

  I think I really pissed them off..LOL!!!!..

  You are being very clear. I'm not asking the right questions.

  I can cut and paste with Firefox 5. So, obviously, you're speaking of something more specific than I am.

  Please give a specific example of something that won't copy and paste. For instance, I've just selected your text above and pasted it below, from FF5. I highlighted the text, right-clicked on and chose Copy and then clicked Control-V below to paste it.

  Although I`m not sure they`re going to let me have it now..

  My tool bar doesn`t provide me with a cut and paste..How are you doing it..

  What tool bar are you using..I`m using Google7..

  Give this a try and tell me what happens. I don't use a toolbar.

  Take your mouse and select some text from this thread. Once the text is selected, press Control-C. Then, place your cursor into the editing field where you type your next text, and then press Control-V. It should then paste what you've copied.

  If this doesn't work, that would be very odd, indeed.
