Yup. I would say it is because of my former religion. But that's only because researching my former religion made me research the ideas and origins of many religions.

It is funny, I ignored this post the first time around. So what happens? When I tell one of my friends that I dont believe in the bible anymore or in the idea of a personal god they tell me it is due to my abusive former religion. I almost laughed, because the JWN prophecy came true.
The one thing being an EX-Dub gives you is that desire to find 'truth' When you realize that truth is not out there in the other religions you are left with very few options.
