I first heard the song Living in the Past when I was 14. I loved it. Recorded off the radio with my new Panasonic AM/FM cassette player/recorder that I got for Christmas. Then I fell in love with the LP Benefit. The songs Teacher and Inside are my favorites from that LP.

This song helped me get through one of the saddest winters of my life when I was 14. My mother and grandmother did something very heartbreaking to me. It broke my soul. Music saved me.

FLYING HIGH NOW- I'm glad you had Ian and Tull to listen to - to help you get through hard times. I loved them as a teenager too. Still do.

This song reminded me of close friends and family I lost.

I love JT, I have seen them live soo many times, in fact more times than any other band. Ian anderson did an intersting solo album called "Divinities" which is pretty obscure but really good - he played quite a bit of it on his "Roots to Branches" tour in the early 90's.

One iof the best gigs I ever went to was Fleetwood Mac at Wembly Stadium in 1990, JT were one of the Support bands along with Hall and Oats - ahhh back in the day!!!.
