I thought this might be worth running again as there are new ones on here that may not have ever known about this. This movie was shown once a year at our Hall during the 60's and into the 70's as well.

Our congregation servant actually got one of the local TV channels to put this on during Sunday morning religious programming.

It was generally thought to be incredibly corny by the local TV program management people, but they played it anyway just out of the spirit of good public relations.

It generated absolutely zero interest from the public.

It was also on TV in New York City on one of the local channels back around 1966 or 1967. I still remember a store we used to pass on the bus with the poster in the window advertising the broadcasting of the show.

Haha! It's got the acting quality of vintage porn only without the redeeming quality of the porn part....just all the bad lead-up acting.

What I find strange is that I have no recollection of seeing this movie at all.

I either blanked it out, or it wasn't shown in the congs in NZ and Oz that I was in during that era.

That was depressing... Thankfully, I'm too young to have remembered that.

Screw this! (after the first reel)

Give me the Cleavers any day! Sure, the boys were dufuses, but Ward really had his sh!t together, and June, that pearl necklace, yummm!

I remember the radio programs that aired in NYC and Pittsburgh in the mid 70's but did not know there were TV shows, too.

    Funny.
