The JW sister offered me a Bible study, what I really got
was a study of their literature and we got to read an occasional
scripture from the bible. It is very misleading to call it a Bible study
when it in fact is recruiting under the false pretense of a Bible study

I'm confused on that point because you sound like one yet you talked about connecting with true Christians whether they are JW or not.
Of course, the Watchtower Society teaches that there are no true Christians except Jehovah's Witnesses.
