What a brilliant post! And a perfect summary of the formula used in these demos, they always seemed unique until I read that. I now know why my family frowns on my iPhone even though they never seemed to have a problem with my JasJam (which had very slow, not very usable internet) lol!

For some reason I personally never applied the direction TM given in these demos, I made excuses to myself as to why it didn't apply to me but often felt guilty that I was not one of these amazing spiritual people in the soliloquies.

I guess I was stupid enough to believe that some people really were as spiritually minded TM as they appeared on the demos, but in reality I guess they were all lying to various degrees!!

I was twigged on to the existence of Facebook from the platform. I went right home and signed up. Thank you, Watchtower!

The ones that crack me up most are when a single person walks around with a mic in hand, pondering aloud their internal dialogue. We've all seen it.

Guilty.......I did a soliloquy(I had to google that word, can never remember how to spell it), on a young man debating with himself about dating a nonbeliever several years ago. Its weird doing those things, because the microphone is echoing throughout the building and you hear yourself and its enough to almost cause you to lose your own thoughts. You know they have you write those yourself? Then you practice it in front of the CO and the DO, and they make suggestions here and there. I imagine in some cases they have these situations prewritten. It is all pretty stupid, although its ironic that back then I was playing a role. Never thought several years later I'd be entertaining this question in real life.

I remeber those.I remeber one where an elder went to college and got his bachelors degree and said he regretted it.I was like "why did he regret it? Sometimes I can not understand their line of reasoning and why college is so bad.

had one at the recent circuit assembly. The kid was REALLY wanting to upgrade his electronic setup at home but realized that the money would go further if he donated at least some of it for the worldwide work...I kid you not. Great kid...SPIRITUAL kid...and the usual THUNDEROUS applause!

Why not put the money in an account for his education?
