Nothing much has changed in 18 years.

Was looking for info on inactive ones like myself when the elders finally find me .

Excuse my ignorance. I've been out for decades. What does "CBSO and his assistant"mean?

Love the "dress and grooming" as a sign of spiritual weakness. "Brother, that tie is so unfitting. What's wrong with you?" "Yep, he's one step away from apostasy."

Elders should . . . endeavour to use discernment as to what has caused this.
    4. someone in the congregation has stumbled them

Yep, that's it. It was the elders, particularly the GB members, that "stumbled me."

    • Jesus said to his disciples: “It is unavoidable that causes for stumbling should come. Nevertheless, woe to the one through whom they come. It would be more advantageous for him if a millstone were hung from his neck and he were thrown into the sea than for him to stumble one of these little ones.” - Luke 17:1–2
