It would be best to abandon Watchtower terminology, which is insulting to the basic dignity of people who embrace beliefs and philosophies that differ from the JWs. It would be more accurate to say that the WT acts like those early enemies of the first century congregation. The Jews have received enough persecution through the centuries without ex-JWs adding to the anti-semetic heap.

thanks for pointing this out to us. It is quite horrorfying how much hate speech is second nature to us. I would not want to offend Jews in any way, so will not perpetuate such value laden derogatory terms.

It is so easy to fall into the same pattern of JW hate speech against Jehovahs witnesses. It is still hate speech guys. I'm not saying it is not okay to express vehement emotion but to be aware that when we start questioning Jehovahs witness culture we are at the same time stepping into wider society that asks us what harmful things we are bringing out with us. What is our reply going to be?

so dothemath, continue doing the math as it can be quite shocking to find that as JWs when pointing one finger at the world around meant that we pointed the rest back at ourselves.
