Also generally after KM school is finished, the branch will send a "recap" letter to the BOE's.

If a letter will be send with these new ideas anti high education, I hope someone will post the letter on the internet.

"One cannot forgo taking care of their family's needs as is instructed in the scriptures:"

I think the argument is whether you rely on Jehovah or not.

I dont think you need to examine my motive do you?

Relying on Jehovah to provide doesn't mean we aren't proactive in taking care of ourselves and making sure we can support our families. How much education one needs to do that should be a personal matter since the scriptures don't comment on it.

JW's identify 1914 as the return of Christ the last days a generation etc. When one dedicates their life to God based on this knowledge they realise the time is reduced. Like the Titanic in it's moments before it sank beneath the waves how many passengers were wondering about college and how many were wondering about God?

Of course if you dont believe the end is upon us college and university is fine.

2Peter 3: 14 Hence, beloved ones, since YOU are awaiting these things, do YOUR utmost to be found finally by him spotless and unblemished and in peace

That'st, boys; alienate the remaining elders, drive them to resign and exacerbate the shartage already underway.

The Finger says - JW's identify 1914 as the return of Christ the last days a generation etc.

Please tell us what scripture did the WTS use to base this calculation concerning 1914.

Jesus clearly stated that no one shall no the time of his return, not even his FDSL.

To even make a calculation is deliberately going beyond and against what is written in the bible.

When one dedicates their life to God based on this knowledge they realize the time is reduced.

Since the WTS is a false and misleading exploiter of the written word for commercial purposes ($) why

would anyone support this false profiteering prophet of beguiling corruption, when they want to present themselves

clean and righteous before god. Staying true to god is far more important to devote oneself to manifestations of the sins of men.

Isn't that right The Finger ?

Let's make this one point absolutely clear: there is no need to "try to prove the Governing Body wrong" because that has already happened in regard to college.

They told high school students in 1969 that they would "never grow old in this system of things" nor fufill any career this system has to offer.

The poor suckers who bought into these lies are now trying to patch together some sort of retirement - or worse, just survive financially.

The Governing Body or Faithful Slave or 'Grand Poohbahs and Masters of Time and Space Idiots' were dead wrong.

Oh, and the idea that 'the Lord will provide' for those that give up college for the organization?

These liars and hypocrites charge congregations to pay for health insurance for Circuit Overseers rather than 'the Lord will provide' concept. Don't let them con you!
