Glad to hear this story. You have every right to be proud. That she allowed someone to go ahead of her, so to speak, shows that she not only has a brain, but also a heart, a superior spirit. Even though things like that aren't often visible, they often make the world a better place.

She was #2 in her high school graduating class of 750 in 2007.
