At my old KH there were quite a few of us couples that had children and were all getting pregnant. I think it became more OK to have kids recently.
I never want kids. I dont want my kids to get destroyed.

The WT instills so much fear of everything in this life. I had my first child in 1974. With Armageddon coming to so soon, possibly by 1975, and concerns of persecution, I gave thought and fear that I would be in a prison with my newborn baby.
She is grown now and has two sons. She never became a JW thankfully. And I have so much joy in being a grandmother!

The kids are supposedly going to get destroyed if both parents fxxx up. If either of the parents is a faithful witless at the time, any children under "the age of accountability" would be saved. However, they are intentionally vague about what the "age of accountability" really is. Many of the publications parade children getting baptized at age 6, and that makes many parents think that, unless their children are baptized and in the best possible standing by age 6, they are going to get destroyed. This means dorkhood for the children, pio-sneering every school vacation, and missing many class events in order to "prove Satan a liar". And, if the children act up or do their own thinking, that is going to earn them a trip to Gehenna.
