it is NEVER ok to shun a JW in good standing but it is ALWAYS appropriate to shun ALL ex-JWs.

Or "worldly" family... until they need something from them, dear MS (the greatest of love and peace to you!)? I knew an "anointed" 94-year-old sister who was the responsibility of the congregation for years. They literally taught her to keep away from wordly family. That is, until she turned 96... and needed to live in a care facility. They shipped her out of town (where she had lived and attended the KH for about 40 years)... back up to the "hills" where her "worldly" family lived... to a care home there... with the position that it was now "time" for such family to "look after her." Family she hadn't spoken to in, like, 20-30 years. We (those who professed to be of the Body of Christ and were on our way out)... took turns visiting her at least 2-3 times weekly... and it was a trek. She died about 2 months after being put in the home. Of course.

Anyway... that ones can't see the hypocrisy is understandable - they're blind. That ones DO see... and yet still "touch" this VERY "unclean thing"... boggles the mind.

    Peace!

    A slave of Christ,

    SA
