Yeah, there are 'Trunk or Treats' at various local churches, here, too. These are very safe and family-friendly. You can park and then go from car-to-car for games/candy/food, etc.

Thursday night, Oct 28th, because the Kiwanis Club has done their Cake Walk the Thursday before Halloween for decades.

I never even heard of 'trunk or treats' before. Maybe its just an american thing?
Sunday for me and the boys, anyway. That's halloween. (of course, yesterday there was a scouts halloween party, and Friday is the school halloween party, and finally Sunday is halloween. Seriously, its getting exhausting!)

I think that most public schools in America have fall festivals instead of Halloween.
Someone complained that Halloween was too scary or evil.
That's too bad.
