i am happy eating stew and dumplings whether it has meat in or not.
tofu.....can live without.
can anyone tell me why vegetarian meat substitute has to look and be flavoured like a meat product?
vegee bacon rashers, vegee sausages, quorn that looks and tastes like chicken pieces?

Well, it helps people who are not vegetarians to consider trying them in the first place. And it also helps vegetarians who do not want to feel out-of-place when dining with carnivores (or omnivores).
