True, Sab. But for me, at least it's Gods carrot and not a mans.
Also, the so-called Carrot is attainable now. But only Christians will know about that.

Is it? Or did you almost kill yourself breaking out the WT cell to find you in yet another prison cell?
-Sab
I'm not in a prison cell. Christ sets you free. And I've never felt as free as I do now. I'm still stuck in the WT for now, but I feel true freedom in Christ.
I'm not in a prison cell.
That's what you said when you were a Witness, no?

How can you or anyone else for that matter know this?
Come to Christ and you'll find out. That's all I have to say about that.
Joshua Mills is a man of God and is certainly not one of those mentioned here.
3 If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4 he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5 and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.
6 But godliness with contentment is great gain. 7 For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. 8 But if we have food and clothing, we will be content with that. 9 People who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge men into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

Blessings, StephenYou see BD the problem is I did. For many years mind you. I did EXACTLY what all of you say one has to do.
I still don't hear or feel anything. BD believe me I'm being sincere here. It just never made sense to me.
I asked and asked and asked, like the good book says, but never heard a response. Nothing, zilch.
No voices, no signs, no Christ faces on toast, nothing. People that did and still do see all these things even prayed for me in group!!!
What gives?
No faith?
26 A week later his disciples were in the house again, and Thomas was with them. Though the doors were locked, Jesus came and stood among them and said, "Peace be with you!" 27 Then he said to Thomas, "Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe."
28 Thomas said to him, "My Lord and my God!"
29 Then Jesus told him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed."
Blessings,
Stephen
The Thomas story is a very interesting one.
Here we have Thomas that spent all the time with Jesus, saw the miracles, heard him speak, heard him say all those things and do all those things, including raise the dead and yet, STILL he doubted.
For some the only true proof will be Jesus's VERY presence in front of them and touching of his wounds, while for others, His words and love and spirit will be enough.
For those that need more, don't feel "bad" or feel "strange" because you want more proof, as you see with Thomas who was THERE, some need more proof, so you are NOT alone and in questioning you are not doing anything wrong per say, but being true to who you are.
That said, all I ask is that you keep an open mind and that you, if you choose to, approach Jesus, approach WITHOUT anger or hate or "too much noise".
