    Walks and/or with conversation can be very romantic. Anything that allows you to connect with your spouse is romantic. Candles help set a romantic mood. Curled up and reading together, also, if he's into books. (not W or A magazines )

    Doing things alone together, weekend trips away from the home and kids, long walks. It's important to keep "dating" after tying the knot. It's kinda weird to have to "work" at being romantic, but getting lazy and letting life become too routine can definitely kill a relationship. I like the analogy of 'stoking the fire'...

    Me and my wife had to date from a distance.

    So I sent her a package that contained a present for every day that we were apart.

    1 day had an envelope that had my very first guitar pick

    another had a leaf of grass from my front yard

    another day had a letter to her saved on a flash drive

    She was not allowed to open anything until the day that was on the envelope. It was a present to her for every day that we were apart. I thought it was romantic.
