Deism: a cop-out used by some to delude themselves that they are actually agnostic. You need to read C.S. Lewis' books, 'Mere Christianity' and 'Miracles'.

There is nothing wrong with thinking that Dog could make rules for the way the universe works and not poke around with them at will. But then again, many people believe in demons, so its not a stretch to believe that the alien could "intervene" whenever she thought it prudent. Just ask Tim. As far as being deluded...probably not, dilluted/polluted is more like it.
