i found out about these by accident on firebox site looking at gizmos n gadgets , did i miss a thread on these or have they been around so long everyone forgets them?

and is lard a suitable alternative to vegetable shortening cos trex is expensive for a lump of grease

Darling, lard has been off my table for some 4 decades now, but I well remember the flaky biscuits and pie crusts that only lard could produce.
