Pet Names for JWs
Jo ho hos (christmas only)
The Lucky Few.......
no thats the Marines
Like "Hovies" mentioned by Laverite and Blondie, except...
"Hovers" [should that be spelled, "Hoovers"??]
While I was a JW, the following:
Someone in field service once called me a "holy roller".
At school a student called me a "Jackhovahs Witness".
Ding Dong Hall.
After I left the JWs, I expanded my list:
Bitchtower, or its Spanish equivalent, Putalaya.
THE ORGAN- ization.
Slight shift in topic: Someone once asked me, "What had Jehovah ever done wrong that he needed witnesses?" (very subtle)
I had an experience like Serenitynow did when I was a young single witness. I move in a house with a roomate. One day I met one of the neighbors, an older gentleman. When I told him where I lived he asked me if I was Jehovah. I remember thinking "this is weird". I think I asked him what he meant and he asked me again if I was Jehovah also like the other guy who lived there.
And I like the term Jablovas Twitnesses to discribe them. I can say that because I was once a Jablovas Twitness.
In real life, Dub.
What made me laugh, Witlesses.
Sounds like a lovely dessert with lots of foam, sugar, sherry, coconut and eggy custard and maybe some cream, crushed nuts and chopped Twinkies.
I spit cereal all over my screen at "Putalaya." Too funny!
I was called "a Jehovah." The kids at school could hardly pronounce the name.
