Should guys who are balding just shave it off?

well its up to them really and i guess it can have to do with culture fashion etc

tv and adverts for years have pushed the full head of hair look as being manly to sell products,

my grandad used to do comb over, he had a pot of 'ohbejoyful' in the bathroom to stick it down and every time the wind blew it was like a yacht sail had gone up, soon as he shaved it off it look way cooler.

the yul brinners and telly savalas were quite a novelty back then. (but by 'eck they looked good)

theres something about the bouncer look that is just.....mmmmm

hell it even makes john travolta look apealing in a rufty tufty sorta way.

men who have a full mop of hair sometimes look just as good if not better with it graded or gone.

Bald, with a neatly trimmed goatee.

    Yea, mon!

I shave mines. I've always kept a low haircut though. In the past year or so, its starting to naturally thin, so it gives me more of an excuse to shave it all off. I made it a point to learn how to cut my own hair a couple years ago, after dudes starting going to the barber shop again. It was nice when fellas had braids and dreds, and half-fros. That made it convenient for me to get in and out of the barber's chair. Now that guys are getting haircuts again, it's time consuming. Not to mention its economical to learn how to cut your own hair.

go bald.... nothing worse then a man looking like he has patches all over his head.... after you shave it go get some sun and you'll look great...

ok misery now you just need to grow a goatee. :-)

I grow a soul patch periodically. If it wasn't for this cancer of a religion and the ridiculous unscriptural nonsense regarding facial hair, I'd probably grow a goatee.

ohbejoyful, just what he called idea what brand it was but it was a jar of either green or clear sticky gel stuff that dried solid,

my dad would call his brylcream and aftershave ohbejoyful too.

perhaps it made them feel 'speshul' when they used it?

Think about it: did I read here somewhere that shaved heads on white guys in the Borg is frowned upon?

Yes, I posted about getting a hard time from the elders about having very short hair, just more than a buzz cut. When I named 4- 5 other "brothers" holding positions with hair shorter than mine, they said that that was different. The only difference was that I was not african- american and they were. That's when I started shaving my head.
