Really? I guess I haven't posted enough lately to see that. JWD saved me, it kept me sane at the beginning of my journey out and for that I will always be grateful. JWD/JWN...makes no difference to me either way, people are still being helped and trolls are still being fed.

JWD had some wonderful information to help JWs who might've been lurking. But, it was a hotbed of in fighting. There were some nasty posters on there for a while!
JWN is a lot more mellow and IMO not as informational but I like it better.

Having never been a JW myself, I really saw the meaning of cognitive dissonance on this board through the trolls. Honestly some of the best information I have filed away came out of watching a hot debate with one of them. I know how insensitive they can sometimes be but there are times I wish we could ignore that completely and focus on the topic, refuting their argument point by point.
