CHG and I are both gingers and so is her golden. My first choice is Ginger, then Lola.

Well I was thinking about this for a few days. Last week we watched a documentary on Nikola Tesla and I just love that.

What do you think of Tesla? Tess or Tessie for short.

I like Ginger from your list.

I've always liked the name "Sadie" for a girl doggie. Next puppy I get will be named Sadie (if a female)

I was actually just going to mention the Name Tessa but Tessie sounds nice too ;-) Very nice name.

Another name I like for small dogs of lighter colour is Taffy

I like Tessa too and I adore Taffy!

Changeling...I did think about Scout for a day...lol.

I had a cat named 'Scout'.

His coloring made him look like he was wearing a uniform, he was curious and alert - like a scout - and we had just watched the movie To Kill a Mockingbird.

Loved the name. Loved the cat.

Tessa and Taffy seem like great names for a light-colored dog.

For what it's worth, somewhere I had heard that dogs respond to names that end with a soft sound like a vowel and cats respond better to consonants. I could be wrong but I think I remember reading that.

    -Aude.
