Don't get me wrong, I don't think Hannity wants Beck to burn in Hell. He would love to see him renounce his heretical, cult ways and join the mother church.
Burns - I heard that the Catholic church does teach that people of other denominations will go to hell (or maybe purgatory). But that they would not want them to go. Can you clear that up, if you know?

Some people will go to hell, by their own free choice. That is what the Catholic church teaches. This includes Catholics and non-Catholics. It does not say who, nor does it say that being part of a different religion, or none at all, automatically condemns someone to hell.
When it comes to other Christian denominations, they are considered "separated brethren."
What the Catholic Church teaches is that the "fullness" of divine revelation dwells in Apostolic Christianity, which not only includes the various Catholic churches, but Orthodox ones as well.
Mormons, like Jehovah's Witnesses, are not considered properly Christian, due to their denying what are considered some basic tenets of orthodox Christianity, such as the Trinity.
Muslims and Jews are considered to worship the God of Abraham, but differently.

The very first time I saw Glenn Beck, before I even knew who he was, he was interviewing the CEO of Vivid Video (that's why I watched, Vivid Video caught my eye as I was channel surfing). I could tell from that interview that Beck was a religious zealot. He basically set up the Vivid guy in order to preach his condemnation of porn and the people who star in it, film it and watch it.
Since then Beck has made a name for himself and has become more and more of a circus clown in order to keep the ratings, or he's mentally unstable. Either clever as a fox or sick as a rabid one.
Thanks Burns. I think I get the answer to another question from your explanation, but I'll ask anyway, if you don't mind. Do Catholics teach that those who don't belong to the Catholic church can go to heaven?
