  What I'm REALLY curious about is not the impact of 9/11 on the preaching work (although I find it interesting - most JWs claim that meeting attendance and field service activity increased in its wake); but to see what the reports are for each month following the exposé of the UN/NGO association of the WTS.

  We'll no doubt find that out in the next few months.

  This is good because it shows that the terrorism is having little
  or no effect on the continuing decline - except for a small
  rally in the U.S. that may prove temporary.

  yeah, a rally of ONE month - September! By October, normal declining pattern returned. Even September in US was not anything great. somewhere between 960,000 and 965,000 if I recall from the KM. I remember when the peaks in US used to be over a cool million.
