I saw ALI last night with Will Smith! It was pretty good. But it was Jamie Foxx who surprised me. I think this is the best thing I've ever seen him do.
I'd recommend it!

Tim, I am not a boxing fan but, I love to watch true story films. I intend on seeing Ali myself.

i dunno, i wanna see it, but all i see is will smith, you know. i think it would be hard to take him seriously in a role. guess i should try first though

Bea, Will is really good in this. He does joke around with Howard Kosell, (and I didn't realize who played him until the closing credits-surprised me) but it goes with his Ali persona. Towards the end it sort of drags, but I enjoyed it.

Bea, did you ever see him in "Enemy of the State", with Gene Hackman? He played a pretty serious role in that. I'm not saying he's an Oscar winner, (although I've seen less talented actors receive it.) But, he's getting better!

I saw the movie, too. Liked it more than I thought I would. A couple of scenes stood out, but still I'd only give a 7 (out of ten). LB's right... "When We Were Kings" was pretty darn good.
