He gave no particular reason as to being not bothered. I recall him as very friendly sounding...not put out at all by my main question. I think he even chuckled a bit when I asked my 'nosy' question.
And, yes, it is possible that another individual is now in his place; I don't know one way or the other.
However, I noticed you live in the UK, and I just feel that if you have any questions, whomever is in charge would also treat you with courtesy should you decide to telephone with any inquiry.
I might add, that I do personally know others who have phoned, or written, with far deeper questions than my own, and they were extended much patience regarding time and thorough responses to their questions.
