I’m glad I’m not the only one who can’t stand large blocks of text online.

I find it easier if you put a line break between each thought. In writing, you indent. Here, all you do is hit Enter, and it will insert a line break. Which does make it easier to read than having 200 lines with no differentiation.
This is because the human brain can only follow so many lines before wandering up or down. If you are in the middle of a paragraph that has 500 identical looking lines, it is too easy to lose one's place.

In Professional Writing 488, I was taught to use lots of white space - always.
