Pretty much, but I was reading anything and everything I could get my hands on. I have a hungry mind...
I've always had a high reading speed, so the Watchtower/Awake only took me a couple hours a week, tops...

I think I read more during the study of the Watchtower than I ever did any other time, and it was usually the sappy played up life stories.
I also was confronted at the door by someone that asked if I read the magazines myself. Too afraid to lie, I deflected...I said "Excuse me? Why wouldn't I?" the woman replied something along the lines of having more respect for me if I'd just said no.
I never viewed door to door work the same again.
