I would love to just disassociate, but due to work (most of my work comes from JW's) and the fact my mum is very zealous and would shun and disinherit me we are "Fading". One of us will go to meeting now and again (1 or 2 a month at most), and we both put in fake FS reports. We can use health and kids as an excuse and that we attend other congregations. Being an ex-elder means I will be on the radar for a bit longer than most, they don't like elders resigning and fading.
If it is just you and you have had no responsibilities in the congregation just stop going.
