I have recently gotten myself involved in a relationship that I admit I had no reason to be in. But at this point the dammange is done, and I am commited. What I do get is what level of lying and deceet is okay for a JW to use to get their way. Is it okay to lie to welfare to get assistance when you clearly dont need it? Because that is fairly common in the Port Ludlow kingdom hall. Is it okay, to hire an attorney then proceed to lie through that attorney until you flatly just get caught? Because this is widely accepted in this same kingdom hall. Is it okay for a JW to slander, and distroy other non church members lifes to provide them with what they want? This is also an accepted practice at this same kingdom hall. Is it okay to take your child to the Port Townsend welfare pre-school and lie to them about your income so you can enroll your child there, and fully steal from the system? That is a practice that is taking place with members of that kingdom hall. I understand that this group may be the exception to the rule, but oh my goodness. They can just do what they like and to whom they like as long as it is in the name of their"religion". I am fully weanting to go at this point to the newspaper, and give them all the evidence that I have and allow them to ru with it. I have already discussed with the reporter, and they would love to run a story about this group, their kingdom hall, and their fine members, and what they feel they can do in the name of their religion. I would be more then happy to turn over to the group themselves the evidence I have and allow them to deal with their members themselves, but they need to get it done now, or run the risk of being explosed to the world.

Doctrinally, the things you say are not okay with the JW's.
In reality, they are people like any other people- no better no worse. (Perhaps, "Some better, some worse" would be more accurate.)

No, it's not normal but people do illegal things even in the cult. When they get found out, they usually kick them out - and in this case they probably would.

Isn't there a toll free number you can call for welfare / employment cheats? Try that avenue.

These people will not stop at anything to get what they want, and then they can go to the cult meetings and pray on it. What a crock of crap. This particular kingdom hall is just terrible.

I'd be a little concerned calling an entire kingdumb hall corrupt and naming it's name on the net because it sounds a bit libelous but hey, that's just me.

Well, I am more then happy to back it up. And I am more then happy to name the members who are participating in these activities, and then with the blessing of their elders they dress their children up and take them door to door, to spread more of their lies and crap. I am more then happy to deal with the elders of this hall directly, but alas they cannot be found. Their numbers dont work, or no one calls you back. Dont they believe that one bad apple spoils the barrel, well I am just going with their thoughts.

jaer, Welcome to JWN. Sounds to me like you are experiencing the hypocrisy within this group. We've all seen it. JWs regularly do things that are not Biblical. It's one reason we're no longer JWs.

The Kingdom Hall should have a mailing address or you can visit in person.
